Handling employee wages and keeping up with compliance are some of the things a payroll manager needs to be updated with. But often times, with a new system comes problems at the early stages of adoption because payroll managers shift from the old way of doing things to the new. When buying new payroll technologies, there are twice as many buyers who are taking the shift from manual methods than those who are shifting from one software to another, which makes the change in process harder than for those who have already automated their systems. With small businesses embracing payroll technologies that were once only available to big corporations, companies adopting new software, whether it be a shift from manual or from a previous technology, payroll managers still need to be able to do these routine checks before running their new software on a full scale. -Jahra R.
